Where are all these bizarre domain names coming from?

Thanks jongrose that is very interesting - LinkScanner has issue only with the obscured ownership of that site. Noting also

Most of this site's links are to sites which are safe or which have only minor safety/annoyance issues.
...which I think is not so comforting. Said links include abccloseout.com, 123finance.biz and cashcurve.com. Revealed at once are the need for inspiration when it comes to domain names and the "sorts of organizations" officially associated with this wonderous "facility" (one shouldn't characterize on name only but ...). And of course, just the ticket for the botnet hosted disposable domains which are becoming the favored medium for the beguilement of the terminally credulous and cretinous who feed the fine folk who account for 90%+ of the internet's messaging and drive us nuts.

Nah, on second thoughts maybe it's a sign that those going after the illegal botnet hosting are having some effect ('cause botnet domains don't need to be disposable - they just need new nameservers as services are shut down behind them). Maybe this is the sort of facility the next wave needs.
