KPMoore Posted August 23, 2007 Share Posted August 23, 2007 Some time late yesterday afternoon I started getting an error connecting to the POP account in Outlook. Prior to that it was working fine. I can still log in via the webmail account but in Outlook I get an error message saying that Outlook cannot log in to the pop server. I checked the news page and didn't see anything. Any ideas? Wazoo Posted August 23, 2007 Share Posted August 23, 2007 There should be an error message which includes a code provided by Outlook to indicate just what problem it's having. That could be researched, though typically, Microsoft's "extended" explanation might be nothing more than "couldn't log in" .. but sometimes it actually points to the real issue .... The easiest thing to try, re-enter the account details in the Outllok configuration of that account ... just to verify that some bits didn't get mangled on the drive ....
