IP not listed on bl.spamcop.net but IP blacklisted

Recommended Posts

You say that your IP is not listed on the blocking list.  There may have been some sort of DNS problem.  Try checking your IP using dig or nslookup to see if that could be the issue.

C:\>dig 444.333.222.111.bl.spamcop.net

yeah, the 444 is not a valid octet and spamcop is returning everything is on the blocking list.  You may want to send an email to deputies[at]admin[dot]spamcop[dot]net.

I see that it has been fixed already, but the NS records still are live are live on my upstream DNS resolver.

NS records such as pointing to dns1.name-services.com ?  The working NS records should be pointing to such as use1.akam.net.
