trickpony1820 Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 Hi, I'm brand new at this, just signed up about 1/2 hour ago. I manage a number of e-mail acoc**ts for various reasons, and I liked that I only had to register once and could submit spam from all the accounts using one address. However, every single report I have sent has produced an error message saying: SpamCop encountered errors while saving spam for processing: SpamCop could not find your spam message in this email: Received: from webmail.enter.net (webmail.enter.net [216.193.128.33]) by sc-app1.verio.ironport.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 010CEA6761A for <submit.5HoFhpXvSwkoM0zk[at]spam.spamcop.net>; Thu, 29 Jan 2004 11:04:33 -0800 (PST) Received: from enter.net (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by webmail.enter.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id A56D81E986A for <submit.5HoFhpXvSwkoM0zk[at]spam.spamcop.net>; Thu, 29 Jan 2004 14:11:44 -0500 (EST) From: "xyz" <xyz[at]enter.net> To: submit.5HoFhpXvSwkoM0zk[at]spam.spamcop.net Subject: Fw: Adventure Awaits Date: Thu, 29 Jan 2004 14:11:44 -0500 Message-Id: <20040129191137.M24320[at]enter.net> In-Reply-To: <rt3--5925m0g6811$8skq2$d[at]s507s.3.r.8.yr> References: <rt3--5925m0g6811$8skq2$d[at]s507s.3.r.8.yr> X-Mailer: Open WebMail X-OriginatingIP: 144.26.171.63 (egilbert) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 ---------- Forwarded Message ----------- From: "Renee Escobar" <fes3pkpcos[at]lookingforasinglewomanorman.com> To: <egilbert[at]enter.net>, <egiles[at]enter.net>, <egoff[at]enter.net>, <egraham[at]enter.net>, <egross[at]enter.net>, <ehaas[at]enter.net>, <ehadnagy[at]enter.net>, <ehansen[at]enter.net>, <eharra[at]enter.net> Sent: Sat, 24 Jan 04 09:58:24 -0500 Subject: Adventure Awaits settle One of your buddies hooked you up on a date with another buddy. Jeff G. Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 Per "Parsing and reporting spam" at http://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/16.html, "Just as when you report spam manually, SpamCop requires the full header information from your email software. It also requires the unmodified body including HTML codes if any and/or MIME information." However, "How do I get my email program to reveal the full, unmodified email?" at http://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/19.html does not indicate a way to reveal the full, unmodified email for your email client "Open WebMail". Unfortunately, this means that you will have to figure it out for yourself, find out from the support system for "Open WebMail", or wait for another "Open WebMail" user to chime in. If this is on free publicly-accessible system, please post details on how to access that system. Thanks!

I'm still kinda confused, but I think it's because the ISP of that mail system is in my hometown, and I'm accessing it through its website rather than Outlook, etc. I'll try this again when I get spam in one of my other accounts, but thanks for the help anyway.

I sent it as an attatchment and as an original. Haven't gotten them back yet, so maybe it worked. One got sent back, but the other was accepted! I think sending as the original was what worked. Thanks for the suggestion and sorry for bothering you with such a petty newbie question.
Merlyn Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 Don't worry about that. That is what the form was created for Another thing; if you forward as an attachment put Reply Anyway in the subject, that way you are assured to see what happened.
