ufo-joe
I have been swamped with spam purporting to come from linked-in (in fact, it doesn't). I found an article at: http://blogs.cisco.com/security/comments/c...in_spam_attack/ Which identified the spam as an attempt to infect PCs with the Zeus virus. the article also says: This morning (27th September), these messages accounted for as much as 24% of all spam sent within a 15-minute interval. Nasty.... Joe
Lking
I wouldn't say 24% but a noticeable number.

Farelf
As pointed out earlier I too am getting hundreds of these daily, maybe this should be merged with my previous post.Indeed, in the tracking URLs you provided at http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?...ost&p=76593 I will prefer leaving this topic on its own - the other is more generally about changes to the type of spam currently seen and contains no direct reference to Linked-in spam. With the volumes now inflicted on the spamsuffering public I'm guessing this topic will be popular.
dra007
Not that it makes a difference but for the time being the Linked in spams have subsided, it's back to ubiquitous porn, virility and enlargement (breasts included) spam emails..
