StevenUnderwood
Well, I have a related experience as I almost reported this person for spam because he emailed me directly. I simply deleted the email. I will tell him (if he reads here) that I have never tried to have the personal filters activate automatically when I access a folder as I prefer to see what is there then activate the filters manually. However, I just confirmed that the "Apply filter rules whenever INBOX is displayed?" switch works as expected. Perhaps he needs to check his rules work as he expects by applying them manually. I have also enabled the automatic on login, but I only login a couple times a day, usually staying logged in most of the day.
