pcheah Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 I forward most of my email through the Spamcop email service but I haven't been getting anything for the last two days when in fact I know that I should have gotten something. Is anyone else having this problem?
StevenUnderwood Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 How is your account configured? It sounds like you forward your filtered messages to another account. If so, the first step would be to disable the forward out of spamcop and see if a test message gets to spamcop? I have been receiveing my mail but I do not forward out of spamcop but rather POP directly from spamcop to my desktop.
Wazoo Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 What steps have you taken to troubleshoot this problem? You say "through" but you don't mention actually looking at the SpamCop account to see if the e-mail either never made it to SpamCop or is stuck on SpamCop. It is possible that thjings as simple as what ISP you're using may be involved. A recent addition to the FAQ was an entry dealing with some ISPs moving to blocking anything that looked like spam from leaving their network, your connection may have just been added to this scenatio. But again, you have to oly current complaint on this today, so more detail needed from you at this point.
