boozeo
What's needed is one click spam reporting.
Wazoo
To be provided as soon as the perfect marriage of computers, programming code, and users that never make mistakes working only with spam items that have not been specially crafted in a fashion to try to fool these same perfect computers, programs, and users actually evolves. Rumours are that this might happen by next Thursday <g>
Merlyn
I believe that will only lead to "one click" mistakes
boozeo
Well, the way I delete spam now is with e-prompter which simply deletes the e-mail before it is opened in my e-mail program and does nothing to discourage or stop further e-mails,but you can easily see beforehand that the message is spam.We need something similar to this but instead of only scanning the e-mail then deleting it you could report it and delete it with one click. If you can come up with a system that flawlessly determines the source of any given email and flawlessly determines where to send the reports to, please let us know and many of us will convert to it. Right now, spamcop is the closest that exists, and it requires monitoring of it's decisions and for the reporter to confirm where THEIR reports are going.
