We keep on having users joining and posting Questionable hyperlinks. What can

the site admins / Moderators do about this? It is getting very annoying.

( OLD: taken care of by site admins / Moderators )

Questionable hyperlink found in user profile Cyvellao (

This post does not seem to refer to Spamcop or the SpamCop Forum in that the listed user is not a member of this forum. So my assumption would be that you are using a similar forum which appears to be indicated in your code.

The question is over my head so will leave it to Wazoo to reply.

All I can suggest is, "To prevent users from spamming that forum. Not only does the person need to confirm to post anything on that forum, also to have a URL listed in user profile."

...When I did a search for a member of these fora named Cyvellao, SpamCop returned an empty result.  Is this a real SpamCop Forum member or are you talking about an entirely different forum?

It is a totally different forum (Computer Pals) and there is a working hyper link to the profile in the first post.

I very much doubt if anyone other that Wazoo could possibly have an answer to the question; but then, who knows how many other BBS admins visit our site.
