Leonard Grossman
During the day, I regularly use Spamcop's webmail application to read mail from my spamcop account. There appear to be two methods of reporting spam from within Spamcop's webmail: 1. Select the spam message and click on "Report as spam." I guess that is "Quick" reporting. 2. Click on "Report spam" and paste the required portions of the spam into the appropriate fields. What is the difference in the effect of each method? === And is there a fast way to report spam from Eudora. In any event the volume of porn spam getting past spamcop has been increasing drastically in recent days. Len
dbiel
Your understanding is correct. The first one is "quick reporting" and the second is full reporting. An alternate method of doing full reporting is to forward the message as an attachment to your "submit to" address See the FAQ for more detailed info on quick reporting vs full reporting. What is quick reporting?
StevenUnderwood
And is there a fast way to report spam from Eudora. 33130[/snapback] I use Eudora and find it better to setup Eudora with IMAP access and transferring it back to the spamcop server and submit from there. BTW, easier full reporting from webmail is possible by selecting the spam messages from the message list (not inside the message) and click Forward and enter your submit.x address (I have that as the only entry in my address book). Then when you hit the Report spam icon, the Report Now link should be there with your reports waiting to be sent.
