Once again noting that not using these types of checks is a deliberate decision by some due to the way some things are broken when this data is in the e-mail and the checks are made using that data. I agree entirely... At the moment the partial implementation of SPF means that we are damned if we do (implement) and damned if we don't. Currently it serves us better not to implement SPF.
