vandan Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Hi, Please bear with me as I am quite new to all this Basically late last night mail server started blocking all emails saying they were on DNS blacklists even when they aren't. The only way I have been able to get emails through is to completely turn off the Reverse DNS Blacklisting but obviously this is a temporary fix. Is there any reason why this would just do this? I had Spamcop and DSBL - List enabled at the time. Any help would be much appreciated
DavidT Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Vandan, Are you sure you're talking about an issue involving a SpamCop Email account (which is the topic for this particular forum)? I don't think we have a feature to adjust "Reverse DNS Blacklisting." That sounds like you may be talking about mail arriving at your own server, or am I misunderstanding you? If you're talking about email not arriving at a "spamcop.net" (or "cesmail.net") account, and the mail is forwarded from another server/host, then it's likely that host has been listed on one of the RBLs offered in the Options of your SC email account.
