Question about Auto Reporting / Approving Spam

Aloha all,

I have outlook 2007 and I have set up a spam reporting rule that forwards the spam as an attachment to my report email address. All of that work great, however I was wondering if there is a way so i dont have to log into the system and click on report.

I would like it to auto report spam when it gets forwarded if that is even possible?

IF that is under the paid feature I would be more then happy to pay, however logging in and reporting 100's of spam will get old real fast and i just need a better more " automated" way of reporting them nasty spammers!

Many thanks!

Have a look at http://forum.spamcop.net/scwik/QuickReporting - available to all reporters. Note there are pitfalls, better have a look at http://forum.spamcop.net/scwik/SelfReporting , http://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/64.html and http://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/264.html

There has simply got to be some way to talk about tha fact that this question has been asked, answered, and discussed literally thousands of times over the years, in multiple venues, without someone giving me hell for chastising a new user.

At the top of the list, "you" are resonsible for which reports go out and where they are targetted to go. That's what that time-consuming going-to-the-parser-output-page, allegedly looking at that output, and only when agreed to, clicking the Send button. An amazing number of folks that wrote up some magic scripts to handle this 'manual part of your agreement to use the tool' usually showed up later asking why their account was Banned or suspended .. answers invariably end up due to 'bad reporting' .. dumb stuff like reporting their own ISP, reporting a SpamCop.net system e-mail (such as a real-live response from an ISP), etc.

For as close as you can get to anything close to safely automatic-report, please see Quick Reporting . please note all the caveats, dangers, requirements involved. Note the links there that include existing data in the SpamCop FAQ here, some of the existing Topics/Discussions on the same subject, etc., etc., etc. Having to note that the Original/Official FAQ has no data on Quick-Reporting.

Hi, can you please post here a tutorial how to create that rule for Outlook 2007. I want Outlook to forward emails it considers as a spam to my reporting email automatically.

Tnx.

Noting that this Forum has a specific location for Tutorials, How-To's, and walk-throughs ..... This Forum section is by definition 'resolving issues with the Parsing & Reporting system'
