berryproud
Back about a year ago when I first started using spam cop. It let me check my own boxes to decide where to send the reports. Then about two weeks after I joined it quit letting me and started checking the boxes automatically and now the reports say "silent reports". My question is....what are silent reports and why did the reporting process change?? Thanks

berryproud
Miss Betsy...one more question.....If I sign up again...wont the same thing happen?? By that I mean wont it just go back to the silent reports?? I don't understand why it changed in the first place. Like I said....at first it let me check the boxes....and then for some reason it suddenly stopped and switched to the silent reporting. Why did it suddenly do this?? And won't the same thing happen even if I change my email address??? Thanks.

SpamCopAdmin
http://www.spamcop.net/anonsignup.shtml You can enable/disable Mole reporting any time you want by simply re-registering your address. The bug that interfered with changing back and forth was fixed long ago. - Don -
StevenUnderwood
Don: Thanks for the update. I know I never saw any posts reporting it being fixed.
Wazoo
I'll second StevenUnderwood's remark. There's a number other folks also still warning of the "once you go, you can't get back bug" in the newsgroups. That it was "allegedly" fixed is not common knowledge to the "old-timers" yet.
