Snowbat Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 I sent a report to this address an hour ago and it has not bounced. Please reset the bounce counter.

Wazoo Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Suggested reading; SpamCop said ''reports are disabled.'' What does it mean?
Snowbat Posted August 8, 2011 Author Posted August 8, 2011 Thanks. Their hat color has seemed a little dark lately. Suggested reading; SpamCop said ''reports are disabled.'' What does it mean? The address status is' bounces', not 'reports disabled', hence my post. http://www.spamcop.net/sc?track=www.softlayer.com abuse[at]softlayer.com bounces (99 sent : 99 bounces) Using abuse#softlayer.com[at]devnull.spamcop.net for statistical tracking. (compared to) http://www.spamcop.net/sc?track=www.burst.net Reports disabled for abuse[at]burst.net Using best contacts No reporting addresses found for 66.96.192.202, using devnull for tracking.
turetzsr Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 <snip> The address status is' bounces', not 'reports disabled', hence my post. <snip> ...My guess is that Wazoo was not suggesting perfect relevance -- the article to which he referred does mention bounces. I believe the point is that SpamCop Admins can take different actions under similar situations -- for example, to either bounce or to disable reports.
cwg Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Or it may be that the destination bounces spamcop emails and not others.
