tjwilson
I have been using SpamCop's free service, and chose (yesterday) to become a paid member. I did this so I didn't have to manually process the spam reports. Well, I'm still having to process these reports manually. WHY?
Jeff G.
Who told you that people who become paid SpamCop Parsing and Reporting System Customers (using http://members.spamcop.net) "didn't have to manually process the spam reports"?
Firefly
You got a message that SpamCop had accepted TWO emails? I would get two messages that it had accepted one e-mail (very annoying)... As Jeff says, paid users still have to manually process all spams, unless quick reporting is selected (which I don't recommend). Yeah, it's tedious, but the alternative is reporting things that aren't spam, or having reports go to the wrong place. An extra set of human eyeballs is a good check on this - assuming you use yours, that is...
Jeff G.
You can forward as attachment as many emails as will fit in 100KB when sending to your submit address, and presumably to your quick address if you're allowed, as long as no one email is more than 50KB. Firefly
Ah, I see... I don't have that luxury - I use Jeff Hendrickson's spam Control to rejigger the Outlook e-mail in a form SpamCop likes, and it sends each spam as a separate message. I found another solution, though - a filter that trashes the "ready" messages. Since I'm frequently in "Report spam", I don't need a reminder.
