TomosJ
Hi All, Most junk emails I receive are according to Spamcop hosted by OVH, the last few emails have contained a huge amount of information in the source code (the last email was 19,168 pages long in a word document and contained 697,864 words), I report most of them via OVH website (except these large emails as they cause ovh form to crash), they cause Outlook and Word to hang for a few minutes. Can anyone recommend the next steps to take? Thanks Tom.
Lking
It would be acceptable to delete attachments, or truncate really long files before submitting.
TomosJ
Hi LKing, Thanks for your reply, I was thinking more about how to escalate the issue relating to the amount of spam I was receiving to OVH

TomosJ
I suspect I have 3 more emails of equal size as I'm having trouble viewing the source code, are the spammers using different tactics to make it difficult to view and copy the source code or are they targeting my email address? TomosJ
I'm just looked at the email size and all these large spam mails are all 37.4 mb according to Thunderbird

TomosJ
Hi RobiBue, I'm just looking at the source code now and it seems to be very similiar lines just repeater, I've pasted an example below <MAP id=3Dutube name=3Dutube>https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/tv/2018/10= /22/dancing-stars-fairy-tale-showmance-brews-disney-night/1734997002/</MAP>= 3qumrblw-tua1-sx6-whx-04kvprlt5ia7 <MAP id=3Dutube name=3Dutube>https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/tv/2018/10= /22/dancing-stars-fairy-tale-showmance-brews-disney-night/1734997002/</MAP>= 9og3rxal-hyvk-biy-cx3-wiadv9lugr7f
RobiBue
if that's the case, then just post the header and the first few lines of the body in their form with the comment that the rest was truncated or omitted due to size restrictions. I do that when I report spam larger than 50kiB

RobiBue
In SC when i submit as attachment, the spam needs to be truncated. SC won't accept it otherwise. Manually in the report box, it might be the case that SC does it automagically but I haven't tried that one in a while though
