I came here the read the "new" and see that getsteppin started three new Topics, fairly rapid-fire, noted that they seem to be the same scenario complaint ... merged all three Topics into one .... Let's start with that this Forum thing is a support area. The account name, password, all that stuff for "here" is just that .. your account data for "here" .... your SpamCop reporting account data will be needed for "there" .. and yes, logging into a www.spamcop.net page will display the address you're looking for right on that displayed web page. What is being complained about is a SpamCop Reporting account of some sort. Am going to make an assumption that it's not a SpamCop Filtered E-mail account, else one would think that the complaint would be not being able to retreive mail. That the complaint didn't include a rant about paying for something and being screwed out of that money would suggest that it isn't a Report-Only type of account. That leaves the free-reporting account. Based on the scenario of registering "here" to post the complaint and apparently searching "here" for some mystical e-mail address, I'm going to go with referring you back to signing up for another free-reporting account, going with the thought that you've lost all pointers to the one you originally started out with (reminding you that you should have received an e-mail after signing up with all kinds of data and URLs, but having to guess that you've deleted that e-mail..??) Posted November 28, 2004 Share Posted November 28, 2004 Which site are you using, www.spamcop.net (free reporting), members.spamcop.net (paid reporting), or mailsc.spamcop.net (Mail System included reporting)? Once you login to the appropriate one, you should see "Forward your spam to: submit.16charANcodeNMBR[at]spam.spamcop.net" just above "Paste entire spam (headers, blank line, body) - or - single address (one line only):", where 16charANcodeNMBR is your personal unique 16 character alphanumeric code also found in the old free reporting code-based authentication URL "http://www.spamcop.net/?code=16charANcodeNMBR". You may find the forwarding address in the sent mail or forwarding configuration on your spammy email account. I use the FREEBEE spam COP reporting thru MailWasher Pro with FirstAlert. And thats about all there is to it. I wasnt able to logg in to the memeber/acct. site earlier today.
