nickml
Is it just me - or are there a lot of "false positives" being picked up as spam in the SC filters today ? I've had six or seven such messages held so far today - about as many as I would expect to get held in a month. In all the headers I've checked, the emails were held because of the IP address rather than the content. Each of the emails came from a separate source (apart from two from eBay). Anyone else experiencing this - or is it just me ? NickML
agsteele
I've not had any false positives for awhile - none today. No doubt it will depend on the route these messages are taking to reach you. Maybe your mail is coming a suspicious route today. Andrew
Jeff G.
Please feel free to review the X-SpamCop* Header Lines of those false positive held emails to determine why they were held, and post a summary of your findings.
nickml
Please feel free to review the X-SpamCop* Header Lines of those false positive held emails to determine why they were held, and post a summary of your findings. 24643[/snapback] Thanks for the advice - problem solved. All six emails had exactly the same four IP addresses checked by Spamcop. And of these, the last IP (belonging to my ISP) is blacklisted. So the false-positives weren't as random as I thought: my bad. Thanks again, NickML
