theiss Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 I agree; my sympathies also go out to all the victims and their families. So far I've heard 40 dead and 300 injured. Too sad.
Farelf Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I should have posted this earlier - but (of course) beware any advices of "a postcard from a relative" from a UK source, not being one of the regular sources of such. Hopefully this is just a coincidence but it could be some opportunistic joker trying to spread his own particular brand of bastardry. Ref: http://www.spamcop.net/sc?id=z784330464z7e...766a9323acab48z The disguised link includes postcard.gif.exe which is associated with Troj/Zapchas-I or Backdoor.Win32.mIRC-based - see http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/trojzapchasi.html Immense sympathy to all those affected by the terrorist outrage. I don't get to London often (from Perth, Western Australia) but have hung out in NW1 on occasions, first time ever in town stayed at the Metropole (Starkis Metropole as it was), cnr Edgware Rd & Praed St, evac point for the Edgware Rd Station and have used the station on occasion. So ... more than usual poignancy on seeing the scenes played out there.
