efused
I am trying to determin why Imail Anti-spam (using bl.spamcop.net) is returning an x-header X-IMAIL-spam-DNSBL: (SpamCop,446805c700b07a02,127.0.0.2) but I can not find any of the IPs in the SCBL. Here's the header of a message that Imail is reporting as blocked by the SCBL. Can anyone help? Wazoo
Listing/de-listing of an IP on the SpamCopDNSBL is dynamic (please see the FAQ here) .. so it is possible that an IP was listed at the time of the e-mail handling but not listed 'now' .... on the other hand, no one here can talk about your configuration, so that there could be an error between actions taken by the application and the displayed message ... I tried a couple of things to see if perhaps that odd sequence of bits may have been an encoded URL, but gave up trying ... I'd suggest you try the support section at http://www.ipswitch.com/support/imail/index.asp ... though looking at some of the "recent" queries there, good luck .... Jeff G.
GW3.webcontrolcenter.com [216.119.106.177] has two spam or misdirected bounce emails in its Report History. mail10.webcontrolcenter.com [216.119.106.127] has no Report History. weba46.crystaltech.com [216.119.112.175] has no Report History. 0x446805c700b07a02 decodes to 68.104.5.199.0.176.122.2. ip68-104-5-199.lv.lv.cox.net [68.104.5.199] has no Report History. None of those IP Addresses appear to have ever been listed by the SCBL. In addition to Wazoo's suggestion, you could also try http://www.ipswitch.com/support/imail/email_support.asp and/or http://www.ipswitch.com/company/contact/index.asp.
