Hypersky Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Good suggestions. I have changed step 3 to make it even easier: * Create a label (mine is "SpamSpam"). * Select all messages in spam, assign the label "SpamSpam". * Click on "Not spam" * POP your messages (messages in labels will be popped) * Open the Label "SpamSpam" * Select all messages * Click on "Report spam" * Open spam * Click on "Permanently Delete all spam" * Done! HOW do you POP your messages? I mean, the pop is all set-up in my spamcop.net e-mail for Gmail Incoming Mail (POP3) Server - requires SSL: pop.gmail.com Use SSL: Yes Port: 995 ... but how do I make spamcop.net go get it now? How do I make spamcop go ahead and pull the e-mails off the server? Moderator Edit: Extracted from a FAQ entry/discussion at http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=4668 amd moved to the "E-Mail Account setup" Forum section ... as the question asked involved 'general settings on a SpamCop.net web-mail account, not necessarily just GMail .....

Jeff G. Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 how do I make spamcop.net go get it now? How do I make spamcop go ahead and pull the e-mails off the server? As soon as you change something and click the "Modify" Button bringing you to https://webmail.spamcop.net/horde/imp/spamc....php?modified=1 or http://webmail.spamcop.net/horde/imp/spamc....php?modified=1, the SpamCop Email System should start POPping your email, or throwing an Error. It should take no more than 15 minutes. You did configure your Gmail account to allow you to POP from it, right?
