Ex_Brit
I have set up a filter rule to hopefully filter out the odd few emails that still get through despite having my Spamassin level set to 1 which is the lowest it can go and should catch just about everything. First of all, it appears that only 1 filter can be set up at any given time - correct? Secondly, how does one set it up to filter multiple keywords? Despite having done this for keywords in the body of the spam and to delete same, they still come sailing through.
Wazoo
FAQ data, I'm thinking. What isn't stated is "how" you are "trying" to apply the filters. Hint, they only work when you 'log in' (and that's only if you have that checkbox 'selected') The "one filter at a time" has me a but confused. You can keep right on adding "new rules" for a while .. however, as I recollect, the "stop further processing" logic is reversed from most other common e-mail client filtering rule configurations .... in this app, if you select "stop further rules/processing" .. any remaining e-mail is not compared against those rules ..... But again, I'll point to the several SpamCop FAQ entries found "here" on filtering, BLs and such .. they were written up by folks that "use" the application. Ex_Brit
Only when logged in would explain a lot, thanks. I'll do another search for more information. With my eyesight it'll take a while.
agsteele
Only when logged in would explain a lot, thanks. This seems to get a few people. The filters work within the web interface, not via POP3 and IMAP. Andrew
Ex_Brit
These items that get past, despite having Viagra, Cialis and/or hot new rising stock, buy this/brand new Rolex watches...etc. are still eluding Spamcop to an ever increasing level.. and many I see aren't using the "picture spam" way of getting around filters, or even the "quote a passage from a book" type method, yet they still get past for some obscure reason. I guess I could just block all items and go "picking" amongst my held mail!

(especially item #4) of any help in diagnosing this problem?
