How do I blacklist this?

Recommended Posts

How do I blacklist this? Today I got a very brief email apparently from me to me. I opened it and reported it manually at SC as below.

yesterday I got a similar one from my SC email address to my SC email address, the spam was from the same source.

(Reports regarding this spam have already been sent:

Do you mean blacklist within the SpamCop Email service? I'm not sure I can see a clear option for a manual blacklist.

As far as the Reporting Service is concerned (the forum you've posted in) you would submit the report in the normal way.

There seems to be a spate of this format of spam item doing the rounds at present.

This was a spam fad last year and I think the year before. I received a TON of these messages and had to remove my email address from my 'whitelist' (unlike some people, I do send things to myself often).

I believe the spammers were using a prog that makes the "FROM" identical to the recipient of the message.
