  1. Yes, obviously. But SpamCop can not force an email hosting company to accept help. If abuse{AT} has requested not to receive spam reports, sending them unwanted report email(s), fits the definition of spam. SpamCop does not want contribute to the volume spam in the system. Yes, and Yes.
  2. I combined the two related topics under "500 Internal Server Error"

  3. Lking

I merged your post with the earlier related post, "500 internal Server error"

  4. kluless, I moved you last post to the Lounge which I think is a better location for your question.  I think "Reporting Help" is more appropriate for problems reporting spam to SpamCop.

Hope this does not cause you a problem.

  5. I moved your post "Mailpost configuration problem" to

the "Mailhost Configuration of your Reporting Account" forum.  You should look at other threads in that forum for answers others have found for similar problems.

  6. I moved your post "have we figured out who this spam gang is?" to the lounge.  Reporting Help should be for request for help.  Your post doesn't really fall into that category IMHO.

hope this does not cause you any problem.

  7. I moved your post "CERT e-mail address" to the Lounge.  I think this is a better place for the thread than where you posted it in the area of 'how to use the forum '

    Hope you don't mind.

    1. klappa

      klappa

      Thank you very much!

  8. I merged your thread with another on the same topic.

Hope this does not cause any problem.

  9. I merged you message with

which also has an issue due to bogus internal IPs Seems the resolutions are related.

  10. Well Farelf, I'm glad you are not talking to yourself.
  11. check what knujon.com is trying to do about this issue
  12. I sense your frustration. I don't think anyone on this forum works for/wrights code for/controls software configuration for Yahoo. Steve T's post seems to summerize the confusing/frustrating situation expressed in both threads you posted in.
  13. Seems the correct phrase may be "Mileage may vary."
  14. Above is what I get when I do a whois on the doamin. May be is issue of DNS tables not being updated. try doing a Google on the domain name. the google links work for me.
  15. msealey, I edited your post so that the link does not work and their fore aid SEO for this website. As you, I'm sure, understand this anti-spam forum would not want to provide a link to a hosting service that does not take their responsabilities to heart. When I checked the domain did resolve.
  16. To my knowledge there is no one here that can cause Yahoo to restore the alt-shift-F function. This thread identifies the issue, and ways to work around the issue. That is resolved. There is no point in starting a new thread.
  17. I don't think so, That would require all spam reporting to change: quick.xxxxxx[at]spam.spamcop.net for example. Sounds like lots of money, but what is the cost of bandwidth for 9,000 users? storage for users that keep hundreds of old emails (from what I read). Besides, you couldn't pay me enough to deal with customer service.
  18. No matter when or how such a decision or announcement is made, there will always be someone just on the wrong side of the line. If they had announced they were closing in 6 months: * People could rightly complained that they just renew for a year. As is the case now. * Others (as now) would be in the position either renewing or only having days to restructure their email. It is just not practical to maintain the whole system until the last current account runs out - in other words for more than a year from now to cover those that just renews. That would require someone to pay the "light bill" for the next year without any more money coming in. Just not realistic.
  19. If you notice in the top right corner of this page the "Reporting Server Status" indicates that there has been a problem for the last 5 or so hours as of this post. Your problem could be related. Although I still see a CAPTCHA on the create an account page, you may have better luck when things settle down and the server status again shows some activity. Just a thought.
  20. I don't see a problem. The process accepted what I entered running a test just now.
  21. Miss Betsy was one of the first regulars I recognized and respected when I started lurking around here. She is missed.
  22. IIUC a new front end for the parser is being developed to identify the senders app, reject the attachments and return an explanation for the rejection.
