chrism Posted October 15, 2008 Share Posted October 15, 2008 My Spamcop account is configured to download e-mail via POP3 from my ISP, Demon Internet in the UK, using their pop3 server "pop3.demon.co.uk". Since last night this has been reporting "Unable to contact server" errors. There doesn't appear to be a problem at Demon's end - their helpdesk say that there are no reports of POP3 problems, and I can download mail from Demon directly with no problems. If I replace the entry in the "External POP3 servers" page in Webmail, the new entry works, generally once or twice, but then it too start reporting "Unable to contact server". Is anyone else experiencing similar problems, or does anyone have any thoughts on what the cause of the problem might be?
