Not processing, note that the graph shows zip is being reported.

Parsing header:

We have opened another trouble ticket about this issue. The engineering guys are working on it.

Hope springs eternal...

I'm still seeing problems.

Engineering is working on the problem.

Working properly now?

It's an intermittent problem for me. One minute SpamCop is working fine, and the next minute, not.

All very strange

I can confirm that the problem has resurfaced...

Gateway Timeout

The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server.

The problem has never gone away since it started about a week ago.

From just a few minutes ago

Looking at the daily usage graph you can see some real spikes when the system does come back for a few minutes.

Slow to no response here as well. No known network issues on my end; other sites are quite snappy.

I typically end up on a page with the same tracking URL on it and not much else for the spam message I am trying to report.

And now, I just emailed in three spam messages and they came back as fast as normal and I was able to submit the reports as normal.

Still have two spams in "report now" mode since yesterday

Seems timing is everything?

Seems to me the problems arose the same time as the Graph fell over?

Gateway Timeout problem has been occurring for the past 3 to 4 days preventing the ability to report spam.

Copy of the message being received:

The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server.

Also, I have noticed that processing time has increased, taking upwards of 10 to 15 minutes to receive the reporting email.

Problem is also effecting filing reports via the website as well which times out also.

Please keep reporting the problems you have.

Whatever is causing the slowdowns and timeouts is not obvious. An ever increasing number of engineers are being brought in on this. Even an equipment upgrade didn't help.

Sorry for all the trouble.

Latest result:

"Gateway Timeout

... and prior to that, after many different attempts, all the other failure/error messages other users have reported here. Basically, I have not been able to complete the reports of anything submitted after early-morning on June 29th.

But then I went back to the other tab to try again just before posting this message, and a few of those earliest submissions came up to report, after about a 3 minute wait from the time the 'Report Now' link was clicked upon. However, those submissions were now more than 48 hours old, and invalid. I was then able to complete the remaining backlogged sumissions, and they seemed to come up a bit quicker, and were completed without further incident.

And finally, I submitted a few more newer spam messages, and they still seem to be taking much longer to process and reach the reportable state (compared to when SpamCop was operating "normally").

So whatever the cause of the 'problem' is, it still seems to come and go at random times.

Yep. That's the way I see it.

before I can fill a web report, but the refresh page take a long time and often complete in a timeout.

Now I cannot fill the report as pressing "Process spam" button end in:

An error occurred while processing your request.

Not sure how things are set up, but it almost sounds like maybe a bad network switch or router to me. Now since I know next to nothing about the way SpamCop works, I may be talking through my hat, but ISTR that SpamCop reporting works off of Akamai's server farms, so I wonder if maybe there isn't something going on with Akamai or something?
